Nurse Manager - Bangor CBOC

The Clinic Nurse Manager (CM) is a registered nurse assigned to a Community Based Outpatient Clinic and reports to the Service Chief, Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). The Clinic Manager is responsible for the direct supervision of Patient Aligned Care Team Staff as well as the lab staff and has a matrix relationship with several other service line providers and staff at the clinic site. Other services may include mental health, home based care, pharmacy and specialty services such as cardiology. The CM may interface with institutions such as Residency Programs and/or other types of health care learners. The CM has oversight of schedules, appointments, and clinical reminders to ensure patient access and timely patient flow. The role involves the development of the telehealth program that is instrumental to providing care to Veterans in highly rural areas of Maine. The CM is responsible for directing and organizing clinic specific orientation, training, and development of staff; providing direction and supervision to those staff members; and evaluating their performance. The CM collaborates with other service lines to ensure orientation, training, and direction for their staff in the clinic. The CM provides feedback as requested for evaluation of other service line personnel. Work Schedule:

The following criteria must be met in determining the grade assignment of candidates, and if appropriate, the level within a grade:
Nurse I Level I - An Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing, with no additional nursing practice/experience required. Nurse I Level II - An ADN or Diploma in Nursing and approximately 1 year of nursing practice/experience; OR an ADN or Diploma in Nursing and a bachelor's degree in a related field with no additional nursing practice/experience; OR a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) with no additional nursing practice/experience. Nurse I Level III - An ADN or Diploma in Nursing and approximately 2-3 years of nursing practice/experience; OR an ADN or Diploma in Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in a related field and approximately 1-2 years of nursing practice/experience; OR a BSN with approximately 1-2 years of nursing practice/experience; OR a Master's degree in nursing (MSN) or related field with a BSN and no additional nursing practice/experience. Nurse II - A BSN with approximately 2-3 years of nursing practice/experience; OR ADN or Diploma in Nursing and a Bachelor's degree in a related field and approximately 2-3 year's of nursing practice/experience; OR a Master's degree in nursing or related field with a BSN and approximately 1-2 year's of nursing practice/experience; OR a Doctoral degree in nursing or meets basic requirements for appointment and has doctoral degree in a related field with no additional nursing practice/experience required. Nurse III - Master's degree in nursing or related field with BSN and approximately 2-3 year's of nursing practice/experience; OR a Doctoral degree and approximately 2-3 year's of nursing practice/experience. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
