Hollywood Casino Hotel & Raceway is currently looking for a Retail Clerk to join the team.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Use proper sales techniques to achieve sales goals and contribute to the profitability of retail outlet
Follow standards of neatness and cleanliness for the shop in order to maintain customer appeal
Know features and benefits of merchandise in the retail shop and be familiar with merchandise offerings in all other outlets
Follow policies and procedures that affect inventory control
Maintain product knowledge of gaming facility events, activities, and amenities around the facility to ensure personalized guest services
Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the Red Carpet Customer Service Program
Selecting new products and reviewing the old
Ensure the products are delivered on time
Stock control & Purchasing
Reacting to any changes in customer demand
Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones
Use proper sales techniques to achieve sales goals and contribute to profitability of retail outlet
Follow standards of neatness and cleanliness for the shop in order to maintain customer appeal
Know features and benefits of merchandise
Follow policies and procedures that affect inventory control
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
High School diploma or equivalent
One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
