Assists in the development of dietary policies and procedures.
Orders all food and supplies in the absence of the director of food service.
Handles the receipt of food and supplies as needed.
Maintains a safe and sanitary kitchen area and equipment in compliance with applicable standards.
Assists with menu planning Assists with the hiring process for additional staff that will report to you Meets with residents, families, medical staff, other departments, and the Administrator in the absence of the food service director or as needed.
What You Will Need:
Must be a graduate of an accredited course in dietetic training that has been approved by the American Dietetic Association.
A minimum of two years dietary experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or another related medical facility.
