Job Description We are currently recruiting for a Receiver Non-Ferrous with experience for our Bangor, Maine location.
Under the supervision of the Yard Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.
Receive, sort and organize different types of non-ferrous metals Classify the non-ferrous and establish the type of material Properly weigh and track the material Do general maintenance of the premises Ensure the equipment in good condition Data entry into the in-house receiving software Provide excellent customer service Help with torch cutting if necessary Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required Work with a safety oriented mindset Qualifications Experience in operating a forklift Experience in metal recycling as asset Experience with computer software and Microsoft office suite an asset Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions Customer Service experience in a retail preferred Ability to work as a team Excellent attendance and safety record.
Additional Information Additional Information:
Permanent and full-time position; 40 hours per week, including some rotating weekend work Opportunity for overtime; What we offer:
