Your daily responsibilities include:
Promote and maintain all steps of the Eye, hi, Goodbye program with each patron and employee you may come in contact with (eye contact, hi- greeting, goodbye as a departure).
Prepare meats, vegetables, soups, sauces and other food items as indicated by production sheets.
Report to Sous Chef at start of shift to receive instructions as daily specials or menu changes.
Arrange mise en place according to posted instructions and menu requirements.
Report spoilage and item discrepancies to supervisor immediately.
As ordered by guest, prepare and plate menu item according to recipe specification and presentation photo.
Assist in other areas of kitchen as directed by Sous Chef.
Maintain clean and sanitary work area at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Other duties may be assigned.
Answer routine questions from co-workers.
Lead completion of daily tasks within the department or work unit.
Interact with others when necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
High School diploma or equivalent
One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills.
Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages etc.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Must be able to obtain ServSafe.
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
